ማንኛውም ሕፃን ጉልበቱን ከሚበዘብዙ ልማዶች የመጠበቅ፤ በትምህርቱ፣ በጤናውና በደኅንነቱ ላይ ጉዳት የሚያደርሱ ሥራዎች እንዲሠራ ያለመገደድ ወይም ከመሥራት የመጠበቅ መብት አለው

ሕፃናትን ከጎዳና ላይ ማንሳትና ተገቢውን አገልግሎቶች መስጠት በፈቃደኝነትና አስፈላጊ ሁኔታዎችን ሁሉ በማመቻቸት ሊተገበር እና የኃይል፣ የዘፈቀደና ሕገ-ወጥ አሠራሮች ሊወገዱ ይገባል
